Lydia SanbornLydia Sanborn was born 26 Feb 1737 and is the daughter of Jeremiah Sanborn and Lydia Dearborn in Sanbornton, Belknap, NH. Lydia married Nathaniel Leavitt in 1756, who was the 4th generation of the family of John Deacon Leavitt. They live in Exeter where all of their children were born. Together they had twelve children, nine boys, Joseph, Moses, Jeremiah, Nathaniel, Dudley, John, Josiah, Jonathan and Stephen and 3 girls, Lydia, Hannah, and Polly or Mary. In 1793 they moved to Grantham, NH on Leavitt Hill. Lydia died on 30 Oct 1827 in Grantham, Sullivan NH. |
