Mary WadleighMary Wadleigh was born on 7 May 1703 in Deerfield, Rockingham, NH the daughter of Jonathan Wadleigh and Hanna Weare. She married Joseph Leavitt in 1727, who was the 3rd generation of the family of John Deacon Leavitt. Joseph and Mary had 8 Children, 7 Boys, Nathaniel, Jonathan, Weare, Joseph, Joshua, Moses, Dudley and 1 girl Mary. This was the first time the name of Weare appears in the Leavitt Family. Weare was the maiden name of Mary Wadleigh mother. Mary died in 1767 in Deerfield, Franklin, NH. |
